AHP Career Track: Online Content Manager
The Equine Network, publishers of equine related special interest publications, is looking for an Online Content Manager to join our team. We are looking for a long term, dependable, and detail oriented employee.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage EquiSearch.com, a content-rich (4,000-plus articles) website.
-Update, post, develop content sources, etc.
-Work with the magazine editors (Dressage Today, Horse & Rider, EQUUS and Practical Horseman) and marketing team to ensure EquiSearch.com online traffic continues to grow.
-Write, edit and proofread copy.
-Write content for blogs, create social networking postings and manage all content for EquiSearch.com.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Strong editing skills.
-Detail oriented, very organized.
-Creativity and a willingness to learn our system for workflow.
-Ability to work independently and as a team member.
-Good working knowledge of the internet.
-Basic knowledge of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress, Typepad, etc.)
-Basic HTML and web-editing skills (or willing to learn).
-English or Journalism degree preferred.
-Horse knowledge preferred but not required.
