AHP Career Track: Full-Time IT Specialist

Kentucky Equine Research (KER), a global equine nutrition research company based in Versailles, Ky., is seeking a full-time IT specialist. We’re looking for a capable team player who can keep this growing company running smoothly, direct our progress with IT innovations, oversee outsourcing, and fulfill the company’s technology needs.

The KER IT specialist position will provide or oversee desktop support, system administration, web development, and design. The IT specialist will be the go-to person for computer technologies to make them work now, and to build for the future. This person will work to support all efforts of KER, including oversight of system administration for KER servers through outside vendor(s), maintain KER networks (data and phone), database management, maintain and support existing IT infrastructure, implement new technologies, provide assistance to KER employees and partners, and work with outside vendors.

This job is a full-time, salaried position with benefits based in Versailles, Ky. The IT specialist will be required to work regular hours in the KER office; it is not a long-distance position.
