Communique: Families Find Fun Fare at Vail/Eagle Valley Rocky Mountain Horse Expo - May 30-June 1 ~ Eagle, CO FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 6, 2008 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo (rockymountainhorseexpo.com)
From the youngest on up, fun for every horse enthusiast in the family fills the bill o' fare at the upcoming Rocky Mountain Horse Expo at the Eagle River Center, May 30-June 1.
Several times each day, little ones can compete for prizes in the Stick Horse Rodeos and get buckaroo roping pointers from rodeo royalty. Young painters and writers can find inspiration from the winning entries on display from the Young Horse Lovers Art & Essay Contest. Budding horsemen and seasoned hands will love the thrills of the Extreme Cowboy Race and maybe see some spills at the Championship WRCA Ranch Rodeo. Everyone who's ever sat in a saddle will appreciate pointers from expert clinicians and speakers. And no one will go hungry, filling up on good barbecue and chuck wagon cooking.
Shopping opportunities surround the arena--literally--in the Eagle River Center, where families can find everything from custom saddles and silk scarves to children's horse toys to a full range of veterinary supplies. Shopping doesn't stop at the trade show doors, either: private treaty sale horses will be waiting in the barn to go home with some Horse Expo visitors and be their next wonderful show, performance or trail horses.
On top of all that horse stuff. . . Everyone in the family can try a camel on for size. A camel? Yes. This and a full plate of other entertainments await at the Vail/Eagle Valley Rocky Mountain Horse Expo, May 30-June1 at the Eagle River Center, Eagle, Colorado.
