AHP Newsgroup: Olympic Eventers Will Wear FITS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Portland, OR) The Canadian women’s Eventing Team will all be wearing Fun In The Saddle (FITS) athletic wear when they compete in the upcoming 30th Olympiad to be held in London. To a woman, FITS was chosen as the breech most advantageous to peak performance.
FITS, a Portland based maker of breeches, jackets and shirts, is best known for its technical innovations that attract top level riders requiring fabrics that stretch, breathe and above all fit. Now in its 7th year of supplying equestrian athletes, FITS is enjoying another record sales season fueled in part by its Jumpline™ for the hunter/jumper rider.
“Obviously we are extremely flattered, but not completely surprised,” said FITS President and Chief Designer, Sheryl Rudolph. When informed, Rudolph expressed gratitude for the recognition and said: “Highest level riders in several disciplines choose FITS for training and competition. We feel rewarded for all our obsessing over rider comfort and control in the saddle.”
The Canadian Team – Hawley Bennett, Rebecca Howard, Michelle Mueller, Jessica Phoenix and alternate, Shandiss Wewiora – will be outfitted with Claire and Waffle Tech show shirts with stock ties, PerforMAX® full seat and Beka knee patch breeches all of which can be seen at fitsriding.com
Unlike some manufacturers FITS does not pay cash to sponsor riders or to obtain their endorsement. FITS has benefited from strong word-of-mouth referrals for its growing line of performance based equestrian apparel.
FITS’ products can be found at more than 140 fine retailers worldwide in sizes XS (0-2), SM (4-6), MED (8-10), LRG (12-14) and XL (16-18).
