Student Member Entry Forms
- There is NO ENTRY FEE for Student Members for Student Equine-related Journalism class and for up to 3 entries in other eligible classes. Additional entries over 3 are allowed at $10 per entry fee. A Student Member cannot submit more than two entries per class at no charge.
All members must submit a Master Entry List. The Excel version
allows entrants to type their entries directly on the form and will tally your
fees. This form must be e-mailed to
ahorsepubs@aol.com and a copy submitted with your entries.

Awards Contest Rules [pdf]
Entries must be accompanied by a letter
of written support from the publisher (print or digital media). Publishers have
first right to enter the article themselves. Articles must have been published
in an AHP print publication or on digital media member dated 2011.
Student Members are eligible to enter the following class:
- Class 1 - News Reporting Single Article: News Breaking Story (print)
- Class 2 - News Reporting Single Article: Related Feature Story (print)
- Class 3 - Instructional Single Article under 20,000 (print)
- Class 4 - Instructional Single Article 20,000 and over (print)
- Class 5 - Instructional Series (print)
- Class 6 - Horse Care Single Article circulation under 20,000 (print)
- Class 7 - Horse Care Single Article circulation 20,000 and over (print)
- Class 8 - Service to the Reader Single Article circulation under 20,000 (print)
