AHP Student Mentoring Program Are You Mentor Material? American Horse Publications offers a Student Mentoring Program that pairs AHP professional members with student members interested in pursuing a career in the equine publishing industry. Share what it's like to work in your area of interest - whether you work in writing, editing, design, advertising, sales, public relations or marketing- and help a student learn more about how they can prepare for a career in our exciting industry. Efforts are made to match students with a professional in the same geographical area so that face-to-face meetings can be part of the experience. Activities can include but are not limited to resume and portfolio review, job interview preparation, and career advice. (Contact is suggested on a quarterly basis at minimum.)
