Key Responsibilities
Foundation Operations & Growth
Support and scale NRCHA Foundation initiatives to increase impact, engagement, and long-term sustainability. Coordinate meeting agendas, materials, minutes, and communication for Foundation leadership and Board alignment Track and report operational and financial information to support budgeting and planning Manage and promote key Foundation programs, including: Youth Scholarships Donor Relations & Stewardship Cowboy Crisis Fund Historical Preservation Assist in planning and executing fundraising events and donor engagement efforts Build communication frameworks that increase awareness, participation, and support of Foundation initiatives Clinics & Events
Coordinate and support a national and international network of educational clinics and events. Assist in planning, promotion, and execution of: NRCHA Youth Clinics Affiliate Youth Clinics (including communications and reimbursements) NRCHA Clinics National High School Rodeo Association Clinics Support production and delivery of NRCHA Judge Resources and Seminars Assist with on-site and virtual event execution, including run-of-show coordination Ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across all events and clinic formats Program Initiatives
Support the development and execution of programs that enhance member experience, education, and retention. Assist in building structured program pathways, including: Scholarship Opportunities & Preparations Getting Started in Reined Cow Horse Judging the Reined Cow Horse Merit Awards Translate program goals into clear, compelling communication and promotional strategies Collaborate with the marketing department to develop supporting content, including: Articles and educational materials Presentations Email and digital communications Graphics and video content Coordinate logistics for multiple programs at various stages of development Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Director of Programs, consistent with the role Digital Community Management & Engagement
Assist in building and leading an engaged, connected NRCHA digital community that strengthens member experience and aligns with Programs, Events, and Foundation initiatives. Plan and execute content, conversations, and interactive experiences aligned with NRCHA's voice and culture Actively manage NRCHA's Community and provide timely responses to member inquiries and engagements Monitor engagement trends and member feedback to identify opportunities and recommend new initiatives Program Operations & Execution
Ensure all programs and initiatives are delivered efficiently, on time, and at a high standard. Proactively manage deadlines and competing priorities, maintaining deliverables, and documentation across programs and events. Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment across teams Assist in preparing reports, updates, and materials for leadership and stakeholders Draft and schedule member communications aligned with program timelines Ensure brand consistency across all programs, events, and Foundation materials Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in program coordination, event production, or related field Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or similar) Video production and editing experience preferred Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting programs that drive engagement, value, and retention Familiarity with community-driven platforms or member-based organizations preferred High attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, professional work Core Competencies

The Programs & Foundation Coordinator plays a key role in advancing NRCHA's mission through the development, organization, promotion, and execution of programs, clinics, and Foundation initiatives.
This position supports high-impact efforts that strengthen member engagement, expand educational opportunities, and drive long-term growth of the sport.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with strong communication and creative skills. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and are motivated to create meaningful experiences that connect members to the NRCHA Community.
