Key Responsibilities
Product Buying, Assortment Planning, Inventory, and Margin Management
Identify, purchase, and source new products, brands, and categories that align with the 6666 Supply House brand, customer, and growth strategy across all Supply House categories, including apparel, accessories, home goods, leather, gifts, and exclusive collaborations Build and maintain a balanced assortment that supports both heritage staples and new, innovative offerings Manage buys across retail locations, events, trade show booths, and e-commerce channels Set and manage retail pricing and target margins across all product categories to maximize margin Negotiate cost of goods, minimums, exclusivity, and payment terms with vendors and manufacturers Partner with leadership to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and open-to-buy planning Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock flow, minimizing overstock and stockouts. Make data-driven buying, markdown, and replenishment decisions from monitoring sell-through, turns, and aging inventory.
Special Event Management
Lead inventory planning and allocation for trade show booths, events, pop-ups, and temporary retail locations Coordinate logistics, including product shipment, setup, breakdown, and return,s for special events and show booths Manage staffing needs for special events and show booths, including scheduling, coverage, and on-site support in partnership with leadership
Vendor & Manufacturer Relationships
Forge and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, artisans, and manufacturers Source and develop exclusive or private-label products Ensure vendors meet quality, delivery, and brand standards for the 6666 brand Manage vendor relationships, including communication, resolving issues, and developing new opportunities
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in retail buying Proven experience managing margins, and pricing Strong understanding of inventory planning, forecasting, and retail analytics Excellent relationship-building skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple categories and vendors Experience with POS, inventory management systems, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify experience a plus) Passion for quality products, craftsmanship, and brand storytelling

About the Role The Buyer for the 6666 Supply House is responsible for curating and managing a best-in-class merchandise assortment that reflects the heritage, quality, and modern relevance of the Four Sixes Ranch. This role owns the end-to-end buying process, from product selection and margin setting to vendor relationships and inventory strategy, ensuring the Supply House delivers a profitable, compelling, and on-brand retail experience across all channels. This position works closely with leadership, merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to balance storytelling with strong commercial performance.
