The EQUUS Film Festival is proud to present a FREE screening of the equestrian film UNBRIDLED on Sunday March 4, 2018 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville SE Murfreesboro, 1200 Conference Center Boulevard Murfreesboro, TN.
The screening coincides with the opening of the 19th Annual Eagala Conference, which brings together more than 400 mental health and equine professionals for a networking and learning event around the Eagala Model of equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning.
There will be a meet and greet with the star of the film Eric Roberts and the producer Christy McGlothlin at 6pm in the hotel lobby. UNBRIDLED will screen at 7pm in the Oakleigh C conference room, followed by a Q&A with Eric and Christy. The screening is hosted in partnership with Candace Wade, author of the novel Horse Sluts and staff writer for Horse Nation, Sue Anne Wells, Mustang Leadership Partners of Chattanooga, along with Larry McMillan owner of Southeast Pack Trips, Custom Guided Horseback Rides into The Big South Fork Tennessee.
The award-winning motion picture UNBRIDLED is set for nationwide Cinema release on
Friday, April 27, 2018 to tell the real-life stories of a horse center that pair abused women with rescued horses, resulting in mutual healing.
UNBRIDLED stars Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight), T.C. Stallings (War Room), Rachel Hendrix (October Baby), Jenn Gotzon (Frost Nixon) and introduces sex-trafficked teen Sarah, played by Tea McKay, whose journey of healing evokes tears that transcends into heartfelt joy.
Producer Christy McGlothlin is available for interviews to talk about the heart of UNBRIDLED and how she is conducting dozens of pre-release screenings nationwide of UNBRIDLED at horse therapy centers to raise awareness of equine-assisted therapy.
