Miller, who recently celebrated his 1000th career win, saddled ROY H for Rockingham Ranch, with jockey Paco Lopez earning the winning ride. The big red colt’s BC reprise win brought his lifetime earnings to more than $3,000,000.
CITY OF LIGHT’s Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile performance gave another Cal-based trainer -- Michael W McCarthy -- his first Breeders’ Cup win. Ridden by Javier Castellano, CITY OF LIGHT is owned by Mr. and Mrs. William Warren, Jr. The colt’s Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile inaugural win brings his lifetime winnings to more than $1,662,000.
