Jessica Stone Joins GGT-Footing as Retail Account Manager

Jessica Stone has a background in customer service, account management, and marketing. Professionally she has worked for printing, packaging and agricultural manufacturing/distribution.

Jessica and her husband John lived abroad for 2.5 years in New Zealand. While in New Zealand she had the opportunity to work for NZ Agritrade Ltd. as the Marketing Specialist. Prior to living in NZ, Jessica worked 9 years as Account Manager for a food packaging company in Upstate South Carolina.

Jessica's interest with horses began at 10 years old, when she started taking riding lessons her home state Kentucky. She worked at a local stable to show her parents, her commitment to one day having a horse of her own. One, two, three horses later, Jessica was an active member in the local 4-H horse club.

"My childhood friend, Colleen, had horses and we spent many years in working in the barn, trail riding, going to horse camp and horse shows - this is really how my experience with riding and horsemanship developed," says Jessica.

Continuing into college, Jessica attended Morehead State University and was an active member of the Inter-collegiate Equestrian Team. Competing against other regional colleges and universities in Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio.

During holiday semester breaks, Jessica often worked for local Thoroughbred farms during the Keeneland horse sales, in Lexington, Kentucky.

"I am very excited to return to the equestrian world in a professional capacity and I am looking forward to helping others with all their footing requirements," says Jessica.
