That’s a Wrap: Congress Concludes in the Winners Circle for Kimes Ranch

The 2019 All American Quarter Horse Congress was a huge success for Kimes Ranch. The events had people lined up through Congress Hall and the endorsees came home with a multitude of titles.

The first DIY Congress Hatty Hour at Rods Western Palace was packed with people. Exhibitors and guests had the opportunity to customize a free Kimes Ranch/ Rod’s cap with Kimes patches of their choosing. Everyone was lined up well before the start time and the first 500 hats flew out the door quickly. Hatty Hour will become an annual event at Congress in future years.

The Trade in Your Fades promotional event has been very successful in previous years at Congress. This will be the second year for this annual event. Customers who brought in any worn-out denim piece were able to trade it in for $20 off a pair of Kimes Ranch men’s jeans. The drop-off location bins were full across Rod’s Western Palace, Schneider’s Saddlery and West 20.  To find out more about the Trade in Your Fades initiative and where you can donate you worn out denim check out .

“We are so blessed to have started in the Quarter Horse industry.  All of our executive showed as youth and amateurs in this industry and it gives us so much pride to be able to be at these event and give back to our AQHA roots in a unique way through the fantastic group of retailers that we have selling our products,” remarked Amanda Kimes owner of Kimes Ranch.

The Kimes Ranch family also saw huge success in the show pen at the Congress coming home with multiple Congress Champion titles across many disciplines. The Kails saw success in the western pleasure pen, Steve Meadows captured the ranch riding classes, Robin Frid’s customers dominated the horsemanship and other endorsees earned awards in other all-around events.

The All American Quarter Horse Congress is almost a full month long. It is a very tiresome and rewarding show. Kimes Ranch would like to congratulate all KRJ endorsees and say thank you to all who helped manage the events.

About Kimes Ranch Jeans: Founded in 2009, Kimes Ranch (formerly Longhorn Jean Company) was created to fill a void in the marketplace. The brand’s catchy logo and even more attractive company culture and customer service have brought them a loyal following amongst their western consumers. The classically inspired line of jeans have been featured in magazines including American Cowboy, Horse & Rider, Cowboys and Indians and Chrome Magazine.
