Sarah Mahoney Brings Industry Experience and Equestrian Connections to the Team at EQ Media

EQ Media, a full-service media agency with an equestrian focus, announced that Sarah Mahoney has joined the firm. Mahoney’s responsibilities will be to manage accounts and partner in developing brand and public relations strategies for EQ Media clients.

“We are delighted to have Sarah join the team,” EQ Media Founder Carrie Wirth said. “Her marketing and communications expertise combined with her knowledge of our niche market make her the perfect fit for our full-service agency.”

Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Mahoney has more than 10 years of communications, strategy and branding experience at award-winning advertising agencies across the Southeast. Pair Mahoney’s industry experience with her equestrian background and she is the perfect fit for an agency dedicated to horse sports.

“I’ve ridden and been around horses the majority of my life,” Mahoney said, an adult amateur hunter rider. “Combining my passion for all things equestrian and my work experience in a creative environment, makes for a dream job. I am thrilled for the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of motivated professionals passionate about brand strategies that engage the equestrian audience.”

Mahoney also makes her mark on the equestrian industry through her blog, AdultAmmyStrong, catering to the working adult amateur equestrian. The goal of the blog is to connect and support the adult amateur equestrian community balancing life in and out of the saddle. For more on her blog visit

Mahoney earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina.
