State Line Tack Industry Spotlight

State Line Tack® is pleased to announce the next segment in their new series, Industry Spotlight. Delivering an in-depth look at different equine industry careers, this monthly feature gives the inside scoop on distinctive equine industry jobs. The goal is to help equestrians discover the world of horse-related opportunities that exist, and lend an appreciation for them, while perhaps becoming inspired to follow one of the paths!

August’s featured professional will be Carl Mitz, an Equine Dentist. A third-generation horseman, he has been an IAEDT certified equine dentist since 1992 and received his IAED Advanced Dental Certificate in 2002. He has held State Racing Licenses in 5 states to provide dental maintenance to racehorses and is a co-founder of Equine Dental Providers of America. Additionally, he is well-known for his research and development of dental instruments and techniques for equines of all sizes, and he has also been published in veterinary manuals.

In July, State Line Tack® featured Equine Photographer Kelsey Keathly of Norfleet Marketing & Photography. Each monthly Industry Spotlight can be read at
