National Finals Rodeo Qualifiers Eligible for New Sponsorship Program from Bluebonnet Feeds & Stride Animal Health

Bluebonnet Feeds and Stride Animal Health invite Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) qualifiers and Rookies of the Year who have been feeding Bluebonnet® or Stride® products to join their newly established WNFR Team of Pro Riders. Athletes who qualify in any WNFR event or have been named Rookie of the Year, and have been feeding Bluebonnet® or Stride® throughout the season, are eligible. Once accepted, Bluebonnet Feeds will sponsor the feed for their best horse, for a minimum of one year. Those athletes utilizing Stride Animal Health products will receive an equal amount in compensated product value for their best horse. The qualified athlete will also become a Bluebonnet and/or Stride Animal Health Pro Rider, joining the teams with other greats like Joseph Harrison.

 About the Program
The Bluebonnet Feeds and Stride Animal Health teams look forward to supporting these athletes through the Wrangler NFR, whether they are a defending champion or a first-time qualifier, by:

  • Feeding their best horse for an entire year (October 2020-October 2021). Stride customers will, instead, be provided equal credit on
  • Providing additional exposure opportunities throughout the event and the following regular season competitions
  • Collaborating on sharing how an optimized nutrition program can support performing at the highest levels

Bluebonnet Feeds has made it easy for all eligible qualifiers to apply for this sponsorship. Qualified Bluebonnet and Stride Animal Health customers simply have to complete the short application available on the Bluebonnet Feeds website Eligible applicants will be informed within 5 business days of submitting the form. Team size may be limited. Those that submit applications first will be given priority.

About Dr. Jyme Nichols
Dr. Jyme Nichols is the Director of Nutrition for Bluebonnet Feeds and Stride Animal Health, and is an ARPAS certified Professional Animal Scientist (PAS) in the Equine discipline. She completed her Master of Science at Montana State University and Doctoral degree at Oklahoma State University. Her published research focused on managing blood glucose and insulin concentrations in horses with an oral psyllium supplement. Dr. Nichols enjoys making the connection for horse owners between research data and real-world applications of unique nutritional ingredients which can support the intricate needs of a horse from the inside out.
