Farrier Association Agrees to Serve as On-Site Farriers for EQUITANA USA 2021

The International Association of Professional Farriers (IAPF) is pleased to announce an agreement has been signed to serve as the official on-site farriers for EQUITANA USA (October 1 – 3) 2021 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky.

The IAPF shall:

  • Provide an appropriate number of professional farriers, based upon the presentation schedule each day, at all venues.
  • Provide appropriate equipment (shoes, nails, tools, and other equipment) at the event and be strategically located throughout the facility to service the various venues.
  • Identify and provide professional farriers who have demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and knowledge for each venue.
  • Require that every IAPF professional farrier be dressed in an appropriate uniform, distinguishing him/her as an authorized representative of the event and the association.

 The IAPF and its members served in a similar capacity for the 2018 World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Tryon, N.C.
