A Horse (Book) of a Different Color

Got colored pencils? Got crayons?

With high falutin’ fanfare, Stormy the Horse is pleased to announce the publication, in collaboration with his person Merri Melde, The Equestrian Vagabond, of his new creation, The Alphabet According to Stormy: A Delightful Horse Coloring Book.

Melde explains, “I became Stormy’s human after grooming him in 1997-1998 at Emerald Downs in Washington state. After his track career, Stormy spent a few years working with me as a Forest Service pack string leader before settling into his enduring role as a trail horse, pet, photography model, and lawn mower.”

29 years old now, Stormy is the muse behind many horse cartoons Melde produced over the years, many of them endurance-related and published on www.Endurance.net. “Stormy also inspired me to create a personalized keepsake alphabet book for each of my great-nieces and -nephews, and the idea for this coloring book originated from those books.”

Coloring is not just for kids, and not just for adults. It’s perfect for both, and what better way than to color with your kids and grandkids, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, friends and school chums?

Stormy the Horse, his BFF Raven, and their friends present a unique, entertaining take on the 26 letters of the alphabet with a mix of simple and intricate designs of hilarious animals, enchanting nature, and a few humans. Perfect for learning, laughing, relaxing, meditating, entertaining, and best of all for spending time with family.

The coloring book is available on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0991346025
