Lindsay Martin is the President of the College Preparatory Invitational (CPI), a program that allows young equestrians in grades 8-12 to explore the collegiate equestrian experience. Since 2014, the program has grown to include CPI Florida and CPI New Jersey and offers young riders the opportunity to clinic and compete in front of collegiate coaches from around the country.
Lindsay discusses the growth of CPI and the format of the three-day event. She explains how the riders have the opportunity to clinic with nationally recognized clinicians, compete and meet with 40-50 collegiate coaches during the event. Contacts by riders with collegiate coaches have led to millions of dollars in scholarship money for the participants.
The Athletic Equestrian podcast by Sally Batton, 30-year Head Coach of the Varsity Dartmouth College Equestrian Team, navigates the world of collegiate riding as she interviews coaches, organizations and riders for their insight on what it takes to ride on a collegiate equestrian team.
