About Ashley Avis (Instagram: @ashleyavis)
Ashley Avis is a filmmaker and passionate, longtime equestrian. She is the writer, director and editor of Disney’s Black Beauty, starring Oscar winner Kate Winslet, Mackenzie Foy, and Iain Glen.  On the heels of the film, she began rescuing horses in need and launched The Wild Beauty Foundation.

Her upcoming projects include writing, creating and show running the equestrian series Breyer Hollow for Imagine Entertainment’s Executive Producers Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Stephanie Sperber; as well as the documentary Wild Beauty: Mustang Spirit of the West (2021).

Ashley’s great hope is to illuminate important issues horses are going through today through the platform of her film projects, while reaching a younger demographic through positive messaging and education.

About Jamie Baldanza (Instagram: @thismustanglife)
Jamie Baldanza is a professional equine photographer and filmmaker dedicated to preserving America’s wild horses. Jamie’s production company “This Mustang Life” concentrates on bringing animal causes to the public through film and photography.

Jamie is currently working on her docu-series “Wild Lands Wild Horses.”  “Wild Lands Wild Horses” is a docu-series that transports you across 12 western states consisting of 150M+ acres of public lands. Beautiful cinematography that takes place in the wild is woven into exclusive conversations with scientists, ranchers, government officials, and wildlife advocates, who — despite their differences — all share the same goal:

TO KEEP THE WEST WILD.

Upcoming projects include a short film collaboration with Skydog Sanctuary about “The SAFE Act,” The Safeguard American Food Exports or SAFE Act would permanently ban horse slaughter in the U.S. and end the export of horses for slaughter abroad.

About Wild Beauty Foundation (Instagram: @wildbeautyspirit)
The Wild Beauty Foundation is dedicated to protecting the horses of our time, by bringing unique awareness to the key issues both wild and domestic horses are facing today.

WBF seeks to illuminate the antiquated nature of devastating wild horse roundups, the existence of mass holding facilities, the reality of slaughter, and the heartbreaking separation of bonded equine families.

Our platform is devoted to including advocates of all ages through strong, powerful, and elegant messaging.  We feel that the voices of tomorrow are essential to leaving a legacy for the horses of today.

Through our unique entertainment platform, WBF will launch educational programs for children, create film series, provide grants, conduct Ambassador Horse “meet and greets,” as well as perform “boots on the ground” rescues of horses in need.

Every life matters.
