Enjoy the July Issue of Sidelines Magazine

The July issue of Sidelines features several young riders who are taking the equestrian world by storm. Dominic Gibbs, a 17-year-old hunter-jumper rider from Colorado, and his horse Cent 15, grace the cover. The Colorado rider has a great story and a great heart — not only for his horses but also for his fellow riders in Colorado. Dominic has helped to create a grant to sponsor riders from his home state to be able to travel to the Winter Equestrian Festival for a week of lessons, an experience that jump-started Dominic’s career. Don’t miss his amazing story.

Irish brothers Max and Tom Wachman are also blazing a trail in the equestrian world. While 17-year-old Max and 16-year-old Tom are from a prominent equestrian family, they have branched out from the family business of horse racing and turned their attention to the jumper ring.

Dressage rider Bianca Schmidt’s career is so bright, it’s actually golden! The 19-year-old rider from Minnesota set a goal to get her USDF Gold medal as a teenager and before she went to college. She not only accomplished her goal, but also placed third at the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions in the 2019 FEI Young Rider National Championship and is attending the University of Notre Dame.

The July issue is packed with great stories and columns and you can read it in print, through our online flipbook on our website and on our app.
