New Book Chronicles a Horse Rescue Operation

Author Robyn Rominger’s new young-adult nonfiction book provides an inside look at a challenging horse-rescue operation at a remote ranch in Northern California.

A Land Filled with Horses; The Yanci Ranch details the true and untold story about a herd of abandoned horses that faced an uncertain future until some kind-hearted people stepped in to help. The book chronicles how each horse was rescued and rehabilitated amid a years-long drought in the American West.

In addition to being a local-history author, Rominger, of Winters, California, is an agricultural and equine journalist with more than 30 years of professional experience. She has written extensively about horses, farming and livestock production issues for publications across the United States. She also has a passion for the history of the American West.

Rominger decided to publish A Land Filled with Horses; The Yanci Ranch in large print in both the hardback book and the e-book to accommodate all readers. It is also full of color photographs throughout its pages. Book-cover and author images available upon request.

The e-book is available on Amazon.com and the hardback book can be preordered now until it is released on Oct. 26, 2021, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
