AHC Accepting Applications for Several 2022 Virtual Student Internships

The American Horse Council (AHC) is now accepting applications for 2022 virtual student internships. Three internships are currently available beginning Jan. 10th including 1 communications/graphic design internships, 1 Govt Affairs internship and 1 Regulatory Affairs internship.

  • 1 month, 2 month, or semester internships available- after getting acquainted with AHC and its various programs, student will conduct a research project and write a white paper on an assigned topic, and/or assist with various projects.  (This could be done for academic credit and research project would be pre-approved by student advisor). Students are asked to work minimum 20 hours per week.
  • Stipend of $500/month available; Maximum of 3 -month internship and stipend of $1,500
  • Open to college students (undergraduate and graduate)

Further, the American Horse Council Foundation (AHCF) and United Horse Coalition’s program, the Equine Welfare Data Collective (EWDC), is also actively accepting applications for 2022 virtual student internships. Internships focusing on data collection, analysis and reporting, marketing and communications, and database management are available. Students will gain a working knowledge of welfare research and programming. Internships for the EWDC begin on a rolling basis and are flexible in hours. Students are asked to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week with available stipends up to $500 a month depending on hours committed. All EWDC internships have a maximum 12-week commitment.
