Trafalgar Square Books (www.horseandriderbooks.com) is excited to announce that it has joined with equestrian media company Heels Down (heelsdownmag.com) to create Buy A Horse Book Day! Both companies hope all who enjoy reading horse books will come together to celebrate horse books and horse book authors on May 10th each year, posting selfies of horse-book purchases and pics of their favorite equestrian titles, plus supporting their favorite authors, local bookstores, and tack shops.
“There is National Buy A Book Day on September 7,” says TSB’s Managing Director Martha Cook, “and we and Heels Down thought it would be fun to borrow the concept to encourage people to read about horses for pleasure and education.”
Want to get involved? Anyone who loves horses and reading can! Post pics of your horse book shelves, your favorite reads, your TBR pile, and tag them #BuyAHorseBookDay with a note that you can’t wait for May 10th and an excuse to buy another horse book!
