Mustang Discovery Ride Team Visits Castle Rock, Colorado for a “Meet The Mustangs” Event! Then Heading West to Visit the New Mustang Sanctuary, Rocky Mountain Mustang Refuge in Fairplay Colorado

The Mustang Discovery Ride will be visiting Castle Rock, Colorado for a “Meet the Mustang” Event hosted by Jeff and Teri Hall on their beautiful Mustang Ranch, Friday August 5, 2022, from 2 – 6 pm. The ranch is located at 160 Yucca Hills Road, Castle Rock, Colorado. Teri West-Hall is a horse advocate, working to give wild horses in Colorado a second chance at life after they are rounded up. There will also be a film screening of the Robert Redford produced documentary, “The Mustangs: America’s Wild Horses”.  An open discussion about the film led by Mustang Discovery Rider, Lisanne Fear, will be held after the screening. This event will be open to the public for FREE, donations to the Mustang Discovery Ride will be appreciated.

The Team will also visit Colorado Springs based Rocky Mountain Mustang Refuge home to 21 wild Mustangs on August 3 & 4. Their herd of Mustangs are located 2 hours west in Fairplay Colorado at Heritage Ranch of the Rockies. Rocky Mountain Mustang Refuge is a new Mustang Sanctuary set-up on 2000 beautiful acres. They are an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Their mission is to protect and sustain Wild Mustangs. In the process they hope you will discover exactly how “Wild Horses Can Change Lives Forever”. Eco-sanctuary refuge for wild horses with emphasis on sustainability and conservation, education, awareness & public opportunities.

The Mustang Discovery Ride team is moving West on the American Discovery Trail with some new adventurers joining the ride. We have opened the ride to riders who want to have a “Long Riding’ experience. The Mustang Discovery Ride will take us on a journey across the United States, coast to coast, on American Mustangs. Rider Lisanne Fear, along with guest riders, will cover 12 states taking 12 months of riding, with the assistance of their support crew. Starting in Delaware in September 2021 and ending their journey on the California coast in November 2022.
