PATH Intl. EAP-PTSD Online Course 

This course and curriculum are for mental health providers and equine specialist teams to work with veterans with post-traumatic stress symptoms. This online course provides training for experiential group therapy for Veterans with PTSD through equine-assisted psychotherapy. During this course, learners will utilize the EAT-PTSD treatment manual written by the team at Columbia university, accompanied by explanatory and demonstrative video content to learn to facilitate this treatment. Course enrollees will also be given access to an exclusive PATH Intl. Member Connection Community for continued peer and expert support.

Trauma-Informed Practices for Youth On-Demand Course 

For PATH Intl. Certified Professionals serving youth who have experienced trauma, abuse and neglect, this course aims to describe how trauma may affect EAS participants and guide instructors on how to develop a trauma-informed approach to EAS programing. This is an ideal introductory course on trauma for PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors, PATH Intl. Equine Specialists in Mental Health and Learning, PATH Intl. Certified Driving Instructors, PATH Intl. Instructors-in-Training, EAS program directors, center administrators, program volunteers or anyone interested in learning more on how to support youth participants who have experienced trauma.

About PATH Intl.:
The Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International® (PATH Intl.®) was formed in 1969 to promote safety and optimal outcomes in equine-assisted services (EAS) for individuals with special needs. At nearly 750 member centers, more than 66,000 children and adults, including 6,200 veterans, may find improved health, wellness and a sense of pride, independence and fun through involvement with horses.
