Equestrian Author Janet Winters Debuts New Mystery Novel

Janet Winters, publisher of Equestrian Lifestyle website The Barngoddess Chronicles, is pleased to announce the debut of her third novel in the Ivy Snow Mystery Series, entitled “Peril In Paradise.”   The Equus Award winning series returns as former Olympic equestrian and amateur sleuth, Ivy Snow, is once again embroiled in an evil web of death and destruction.

The new novel follows protagonist, Snow, and her psychic teenage daughter, Jaycee, to Wellington International’s Winter Equestrian Festival where dreams turn to nightmares. In a world where wealth, power and social standing rule, murder is most unwelcome for humans and horses alike. But murder and mayhem is what’s served up to the polo and penthouse crowd, much to the horror of the horse world.

Nevertheless, Ivy’s present day plight soon becomes overshadowed by her past. Thanks to vile step-father, Lloyd Snow, Scotland Yard’s cold case surrounding her mother’s death heats up fast in the tropical sun…threatening her freedom…and her very life! Ivy’s deductive skills and Jaycee’s psychic powers are put to the test when summoned to unearth the evil that conjure up Peril In Paradise.

Peril In Paradise,” along with the premier novel in the series, “Murder At Morgan House,” and the sequel, “Death At Heart’s Desire,” are available on Amazon.

Winters, who’s writing work encompasses advertising, public relations, journalism, fiction and nonfiction, lives and works in the Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania.
