EXHIBITOR RETENTION/RELATIONS SPECIALIST (SALES)

The Western States Horse Expo is looking to add an Exhibitor Relations Specialist to the team! This is a SALES POSITION, so having experience in Business to Business Sales is crucial!
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong SALESskills on the phone, in person and in the written form
- Strong customer retention and relationship building skills.
- A solid background inB2B Sales and business development
- A solid understanding of the current equestrian industry
- Solid computer skills
- Confidence, experience and charisma.
- Creativity and inspired/proactive thinking skills.
- Ability to think outside the box
This position is based out of the El Dorado Hills, California headquarters of the Western States Horse Expo. You will need to be in the office Monday through Friday, standard business hours. 90% of the job duties are done in our office, over the phone and via email.
You will also need to be able to travel to the event locations (Sacramento and Los Angeles, CA) for approximately a week per event, and be part of the team that creates, runs and supervises the events. This comprises the remaining 10% of the job duties.
Compensation is base plus commission (DOE).
