Post Production Manager

We are looking for a full-time Post Production Manager, to help provide high-quality video materials as well as manage all aspects of post-production and distribution. An individual in this role should be extremely organized and have a passion for process and operations along with a specific knowledge of workflows and technical aspects related to video and audio post production. This will range from everything from offline editorial, color correction, visual effects, compositing, graphics, titling, sound editorial, sound mix, closed captioning, quality control, and archival. A big part of our success is being able to turn around high-quality videos quickly so this position requires a multi-talented, self-motivated, and resourceful individual who can complete projects in an efficient manner.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • The Post Production Manager will be responsible for all aspect of post-production and distribution that supports the mission of Equine Network Productions including; documentary, product, promotional and educational videos
  • Working cross-functionally to identify and prioritize video needs across business
  • Helps create content by also being the main editor for the Equine Network
  • Using digital asset management system to create and maintain video asset organization
  • Maintaining accurate records and project documentation/logs for video production projects, ie music and other licensing
  • Ingest, transcode, log, tag and share media with various departments with very quick turnaround times
  • Manages storage for all video content, including organizing footage both in house and in cold storage facility, sending all footage both digitally and physically, and providing any necessary files to clients.
  • Works directly with freelance editors
  • Coordinates any needed VO recordings and provides that to final editor
  • Coordinating postproduction schedules as needed
  • Researching and coordinating media rights for b-roll footage
  • Researching equipment needs
  • Keeping up to date with current trends in video production and platforms
  • VFX, Color and audio mixing responsibilities when necessary

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • 5-7 years of experience in a post-production job role
  • Detailed knowledge of content organization structures
  • Background in digital media, cinematography, film studies or related field
  • Advanced knowledge in the Adobe Creative Suit (Premiere, After Effects, etc.)
  • Ability to deliver videos in multiple formats and strategize best practices for space management, reviewing content, and final delivery.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a wide variety of projects simultaneously
  • Ability to learn quickly and be a team player
  • Must have the ability to get gigabit internet
  • Must have an office and the space to store and manage large hard drives, NAS, or a server

WORK LOCATION: REMOTE/HOME

We are in search of a team member who is ready to dive into a fast-paced, demanding environment. This is a salaried, full-time position with benefits and the hours that make our products sing.

  • To keep up with the EN’s work group and the varying events, remote work does require better-than-average (gigabit) internet connectivity. Employees are expected to be able to participate in regular chats, on-screen meetings and calls without notable interruptions, often while handling large file transfers.
  • As a well-versed member of the video production team, it should be understood that this position might include weekend work and travel.
