Equine Land Conservation Resource has opportunities for contract writers to develop educational articles and resources relating to the organization’s six core conservation areas*. Areas of special interest include the following: protecting equine access to trails, best practices in horse land protection, advocating for the benefits of horses in our communities and successful public private partnerships.
Organization Overview: Equine Land Conservation Resource (ELCR) is a 501C3 not for profit organization that works to protect access to land for horses and equine related activities. ELCR is primarily an education-based organization developing educational resources for the protection of horse land in six core areas of conservation. The organization also provides counseling and technical assistance services to individuals, organizations and communities working on local horse land issues.
