Julie Goodnight’s Most In-Demand Horse Expo Presentations

Julie Goodnight travels to horse expos nationwide to share her decades of horsemanship knowledge, and with every topic, empowers riders to better help and understand their own horses.

“First and foremost, I’m an educator. Secondly, I’m a horse trainer,” Goodnight says. “To have an impact on the horses, you have to educate the people who work with them every day.”

Known for her clear communication and teaching ability, Goodnight has her finger on the pulse of what audiences want. Her top three most popular topics include Mastering the Canter Series, Balance & Rhythm Series—but perhaps the most popular among expo crowds is Riding ‘til You’re 90.

“It’s amazing how this presentation draws a huge crowd every time,” says Goodnight. “One incredible woman came to my presentation at the Michigan Horse Expo and suggested changing the title to Riding ‘til You’re 92—that way she’d still qualify. So I thought, ‘Why not Riding ‘til You’re 100?’ I’ve been in the saddle for more than 60 years, but every time I poll the audience there are plenty of people that have been at it even longer!”

Goodnight offers informative and entertaining demonstrations and clinics, as well as compelling lectures and inspiring keynote speeches that encompass all aspects of riding, training, behavior, and leadership.
