Mustang Magic Tickets on Sale Now

Tickets are on sale now and going fast for Mustang Magic, two distinctive competitions hosted by the Mustang Heritage Foundation during the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, January 19-21, 2023.

Starting Thursday, January 19, 2023, trainers from across the country will begin their first day of competition in the Mustang Magic Trainer’s Challenge, a MHF sponsored event modeled after the famed Extreme Mustang Makeover. Competing trainers picked up their untouched, wild horses in early September and have had just a few short months to prepare them for competition at Will Rogers Coliseum. Preliminary classes will run January 19-20 and are free to the public with FWSSR general admission.

Like the Extreme Mustang Makeover events, Mustang Magic Trainer’s Challenge competitors will work their way through 3 preliminary classes, racking up points to put them into the Top 10. Those Top 10 competitors will then compete in a Freestyle Final on January 21, 2023, for their chance at being crowned Mustang Magic Champion. The Top 10 Finals is a ticketed event through the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.

All Mustang Magic Trainer’s Challenge horses will be available via competitive bid adoption through Mustang Heritage Foundation and the Bureau of Land Management following the competition. More information about Mustang Magic, available horses and how to adopt can be found at mustangheritagefoundation.org/event/magic/.

Accompanying the Trainer’s Challenge competition, Mustang Heritage Foundation is proud to host some of the country’s most elite mustang trainers in the Mustang Magic Celebrity Freestyle event on January 20, 2023. This one-night event features eight of the best mustang trainers in the country laying it all on the line with a unique, awe-inspiring, freestyle routine of their own creation. The Celebrity Freestyle event is one that always has the crowd on the edge of their seat to see who is crowned Mustang Magic Champion! Tickets for the Mustang Magic Celebrity Freestyle performance can be purchased through the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.
