Nikki’s Notes:  Are You Dancing to The Wrong Tune With Your Equine Business Marketing?

Avant Marketeer Nikki Alvin-Smith Offers Timely Insights For Your Marketing Delight

“The unreliability of the latest round of AI does not inspire confidence in its use for content writing short cuts that some equine businesses are keen to put to use.

The task of formulating an efficient content marketing strategy where inaccuracies, lack of provenance, thought leadership and USP {unique selling point} is laid into content with wordsmith wizardry is simply not viable at this time with AI interference.

Writing great content that has an approachable and accessible style finely tuned to the brand which it promotes takes talent and deserves the lead on the dance floor. Hopefully, that will never change. The Writer’s Guild of America, WGA, recently won some hard-fought battles to help protect the copyright and authorship of certain works, and for that writers are grateful. But companies will always look to save money and to apply algorithm driven content, as they should. Trouble is that the present-day use of AI has become a tripping hazard that has many businesses dancing to the wrong tune.

The key to marketing success for any brand is to have a well-appointed and executed strategy. There is little point in creating great content on the website, social media outlets or in press release distributions, blogs, white papers etc. if nobody sees it.

SEO companies are scrambling to keep abreast of the fine print and changes in the marketing dimensions that are ever expanding into metaverse and universe. But then, that’s their job and they always are – finding a good one that does that job and does that job well is a solid route to building viewership.

There are many ways to increase awareness and understanding/education for a product or service. On my recent travels to the U.K., I was invited by a client to accompany them to enjoy their adventures with product showcasing at QVC. It was a whirlwind day of high energy, chaos and incredible fun. I was fortunate to meet with several other PR/Marketing professionals during the evening and exchanging ideas and discussing the market trends in the U.K., continental Europe as well as the U.S.A. was an interesting night well-oiled by a few ‘glasses of giggles’. The take home message for me, was validation of what many of us already know. Failure of companies in boosting their sales and elevating their brand is often simply a case of them missing the final piece of the jigsaw of clever marketing strategy. A fact that hasn’t changed despite the interference of AI and all the new algorithms thrown into the meta pot.

If the orchestra isn’t serenading your business across the dance floor with light financial footsteps and a healthy glow to the bottom line then ask me. I’m here to help!”
