Kimes Ranch is proud to announce its newest endorsee, Quinten “Q” Taylor. Q is a Saddle Bronc rider who has risen to great success in his short career. A native of Nanton, Alberta, Taylor was active in the rodeo scene throughout junior high and high school. He developed a passion for competition at a young age, and after graduating high school, Taylor worked as a ranch hand and studied at Casper College for two years, where he made the college rodeo finals both years. He then began competing professionally as a Saddle Bronc rider in October of 2022. Since then, he has quickly risen through the ranks and has become a respected rider in the industry.
Taylor’s values and dedication to excellence align perfectly with the Kimes Ranch brand. Kimes is confident that Q will be a great representation for the brand and help to inspire future generations. Finishing his 2023 season 18th in the world standings and second in the Resistol Rookie of the Year results, the future is looking bright. Taylor reflects on his experience since entering the professional realm, “My rookie year was a great experience and was full of many great moments in and out of the arena. Being in such a tight race for both Rookie of the Year and an NFR qualification was an awesome experience, but with how things turned out, it fuels my fire for the coming year to reach my goals.”
Q plans to only push forward, and lofty goals are set for this saddle bronc rider. “My goals for the coming year is to keep the momentum rolling forward and to not only make the finals, but to be in a position to be in the race for a gold buckle.” Taylor’s perseverance and drive are exactly the qualities Kimes Ranch values in its team members.
