Amplify Horse Racing Launches New Website

Amplify Horse Racing has launched a new website, designed to be an introductory step for youth and young adults who want to get involved in the Thoroughbred industry. The site features a downloadable Welcome Guide, informational blog, internship and job board, and resources to learn about and follow the industry.

Amplify invites industry employers to submit jobs and internships to the Job Board, following the easy-to-use submission form and guidelines. Positions will remain live on the website for 30 days unless Amplify is notified otherwise.

Administrators of educational programs, initiatives, or facilities are encouraged to submit their resources on the Educational Opportunities page. Submissions could include–but are not limited to–training programs, scholarships, industry employee services, museums, educational nonprofits, and more. In early 2024, this information will be compiled into an Educational Opportunities Directory, making it easier for youth and young adults to locate industry resources. Listing is free, however, organizations who make a submission are asked to share a link to Amplify on their website or social media.

“Amplify’s goal is to be the youth arm of the North American Thoroughbred industry,” said Annise Montplaisir, executive director. “In order to achieve this, we recognized the need to create a first-step platform that is easy to navigate, and introduces newcomers to the various components and terminology of the industry. Our team feels like this new website has achieved that goal, and we will continue adding resources over time.”

Amplify Horse Racing launched in 2019, and now offers a range of educational opportunities for young people including virtual programming and a podcast, learning materials, event activations, behind the scenes tours, and a mentorship program.
