Athletic Equestrian: Riding in College Podcast Wins Best Educational Podcast at the 2021 Equus Film & Arts Festival

Athletic Equestrian announces the receipt of a “Winnie” Award for Best Educational Podcast at the 2021 Equus Film & Arts Festival.   The podcast, hosted by Sally Batton, 30-year Head Coach of the Varsity Dartmouth College Equestrian Team, helps young equestrians and their parents navigate the world of collegiate riding. Sally has interviewed over 40 coaches, organizations and riders for their insight on what it takes to ride on a collegiate equestrian team.

“I’m thrilled to receive this prestigious award, especially in my first year of the podcast,” says Sally Batton, Founder and President of Athletic Equestrian.  “I’ve had so much fun interviewing all of my guests and it is icing on the cake to win for Best Educational Podcast.”

Athletic Equestrian is the organization that oversees the Athletic Equestrian League, Athletic Equestrian Clinics and the upcoming book to be published by Horse and Rider Books, Athletic Equestrian by Sally Batton and Christina Keim.

The Athletic Equestrian League is an organization of equestrian athletes who compete in individual competition offered in both English and Western disciplines.  The AEL includes a Minis development division for 1st-3rd grades and competition for 4th-12th graders, Collegiate riders and adults.
