Kimes Ranch Songs & Stories at the Run for a Million

Kimes Ranch is thrilled to bring a unique musical experience to the South Point in Las Vegas during the prestigious the Run for a Million event held August 17th-20th. Kimes Ranch Songs & Stories is an intimate, all-acoustic show that allows songwriters to share the stories behind their songs and audiences to get an up close and personal view of the artists and the music they create.

This special event during the Run for a Million brings will be held in the Grandview Lounge at the South Point from 9-11pm on Friday, August 19th. Jeremy McComb and Angie K from Nashville and singer-songwriter Corb Lund from Alberta offer the perfect blend of comedy, authenticity, and pure talent, showcased in a private, acoustic setting.

Host Jeremy McComb blends his Idaho roots with Tennessee influence to bring his own high-energy brand of country music. He has been featured on Country Music Television, Country Music News, and Country Network and his track “Last Man Standing” was featured on the American western film “Old Henry.”

Corb Lund hails from Taber, Alberta. His ranch upbringing heavily influenced his musical style, creating his own distinctive style of cowboy music. He has been known to filter a range of cowboy themes past and present through his unique lens – from rough-and-tumble tales of lawless frontier saloons to the somber realities of running a modern family ranch. Most recently, Lund released “Songs my Friends Wrote,” a collection of covers, that has been nominated for a CCMA for Best Alternative Country Album.

Angie K started her career opening for Jake Owen before being named one of three artists for CMA’s artist development program. Her single “Real Talke” catapulted her onto the country scene by making here a “Highway Find” on Sirius XM the Highway. Her last three singles have each hit over one million streams and have been featured on some of the biggest editorial playlists on both Spotify and Apple Music.
