Willow Bend Publishing Announces Fall Releases

Willow Bend Publishing is excited to announce our new fall releases for young readers of equine fiction and non-fiction.

Rocket: The Miniature Morgan Horse by Ellen F. Feld is the first book in a new chapter book series for readers ages 7 through 8. This first book follows Rocket, a newborn pony foal, and his young owner, Sara, as they learn about life and go on many adventures together. Book 2 in the series, Rocket: The Blue-Ribbon Pony will be released in Spring, 2023.

Also new this fall is The Quarter Horse Coloring Book, the second book in our “Real Horses” coloring book series. Continuing the theme of these best-selling coloring books, photographs of real Quarter Horses, in various disciplines, have been converted into coloring book images. The book showcases the versatility of this popular breed with realistic drawings that will educate coloring book fans about the Quarter Horse.

The third fall release from Willow Bend, while not equine related, is a companion book to What Does A Police Horse Do? The new book, What Does a Police Dog Do?, was photographed and written in conjunction with the Massachusetts State Police K-9 Division and accurately portrays police dogs and the various jobs they perform. With over 30 photographs of these hero dogs, readers will get an inside look at police dogs and their handlers.
