Kimes Ranch is proud to announce that Tanner Butner is the newest member of the Kimes Ranch Rodeo Team. The native of Daniel, Wyoming qualified for his first National Finals Rodeo in the saddle bronc riding. “I think it will be pretty dang cool to have my whole family there,” he said when asked what he was most looking forward to in Las Vegas.
The twenty-five-year-old cowboy joined the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in 2019 and enjoys riding colts and working on his family ranch when he is not on the rodeo trail. A true Wyoming cowboy, he cites Cheyenne Frontier Days as his favorite rodeo. “I grew up cowboying,” says Butner, “but didn’t have much to do with rodeo until high school.”
Butner cited the values and family-oriented culture of Kimes Ranch as reasons that the brand was a natural fit for him. He joins his traveling partner, fellow saddle bronc rider Chase Brooks, as part of the Kimes Ranch family.
