MARS EQUESTRIAN™ Equine Veterinary Continuing Education Series Offers Recorded Webinars For RACE Credits

The Mars, Incorporated portfolio of equine products and services is focused on whole horse wellness and is backed by research, diagnostics and nutrition expertise.

After our second annual series of successful live webinars, MARS EQUESTRIAN™ Sponsorship has made the webinar recordings available for a total of six Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE)-CE credits to veterinarians and veterinary technicians. The virtual series is available at no charge at https://web.antechdiagnostics.com/equinewebinarseries. Topics from 2022 include Keeping the Performance Horse Healthy, Keeping the Gastrointestinal Tract Healthy, and Keeping the Performance Horse Mobile and Fit, covering relevant research and providing up to date nutritional advice, as well as current guidance on diagnostics.

Each session must be registered for individually. These are replays of the original webinars held in the fall of 2022. After each recorded session, attendees will be required to take a quiz, which will be scored, before receiving RACE credits.

This virtual educational series integrated Mars, Incorporated’s equine-focused products and services which include WALTHAM™ Science, ANTECH™, SOUND®, BUCKEYE™ Nutrition and SPILLERS™ Brands, with special guest collaborators from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine (Penn Vet). The expert panel of speakers featured nutrition and veterinary specialists in research, diagnostics, and product development. Speaker bios can be found on the registration link, listed below.

This year’s live webinars had more than 800 registrations and the post survey indicated that 85 percent of attendees were veterinarians or veterinary technicians. Additionally, attendees hailed from more than 14 countries. The post survey also indicated that 100 percent of attendees were likely (10 percent) or very likely (90 percent) to attend a future educational webinar from MARS EQUESTRIAN™.

“Horses have been deeply rooted in MARS history since the 1930s, and as a global leader in the veterinary industry, we are committed to making the world a better place for horses through our shared passion for education and innovation.” said Bridgett McIntosh, PhD, Director at Mars Equestrian. “We are excited to continue to offer this robust learning opportunity through a recorded digital platform that is easy to use and connects the veterinary community with subject matter experts.”

The series recordings will be available for approximately 12 months.
