EQUUS Television Will Unite the World of Horses One Country at a Time

EQUUS Television Network’s Worldwide Equestrian Correspondent and longtime equine journalist Diana De Rosa is working on a project to unite the world of horses one country at a time.

“In my over 40 years of being an equine journalist, I’ve always had this goal of sharing what each country offers the horse enthusiast, and now I’m putting that dream into a reality,” commented De Rosa.

To achieve this goal, De Rosa is reaching out to the various federations of each country to identify who would be the best person to help share what that country offers the horse enthusiast. In addition, she will also speak to key equestrians who have achieved incredible goals to talk to them about their history in the horse world, their present goals and their advice to others who want to follow in their shoes.

“I’ve already spoken to David O’Connor (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1946), whose credentials include being past president of the United States Equestrian Federation and an Olympic Eventing medalist,” De Rosa remarked.

In addition to O’Connor De Rosa has also spoken to top Dutch Driving World Champions Bram Chardon (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1733) and Chester Weber from the United States (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1600). Other conversations were with Liza Boyd (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1606), known for her many accolades in the Show Hunter world and Tim Hadaway (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1697) whose role as FEI Director of Games Operations is critical to the health of the international horse world.

After Denmark won the Gold at CHIO Aachen, De Rosa spoke with Danish Dressage Chef d’Equipe Anne-Mette Binder who took the time to talk about that victory and what it means to their country. (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1597)

USA Eventing medalist Will Coleman (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1932) was also on this list of interviews after he undid a 20-year medal drought.  In the Western world some of those interviews included renowned horseman Pat Parelli (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1807) who she interviewed while working with the Equitana USA Team in 2021 and at Liberty Festival in 2022. For the well-known Equine Affaire trade show (and so much more) De Rosa added Western equestrian Jonathan Field into the mix (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1786) along with a few other well-known clinicians.

De Rosa did a short interview with polo expert Nic Roldan also at the Equitana USA event (https://equustelevision.com/watch/684) as well as TV star and friend Carson Kressley (https://equustelevision.com/watch/712).

One of her other mini interviews was with racing correspondent Donna Brothers (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1406), who was the keynote speaker at the annual American Horse Publications Media Conference. During that event, De Rosa did short interviews with many of the equestrians who are members of this equine focused press organization. De Rosa is a past president of the AHP and was recently added to the board of the International Alliance of Equestrian Journalists, an international organization that helps protect the rights of the media. She is also on the board of her local New York Press Club of Long Island.

One of De Rosa’s first country interviews was focused on Ukraine (https://equustelevision.com/watch/1765) and how it has been helped to get through this past year where its horses have been severely affected by the war against Russia.

“While doing these interviews has been special for me to fulfill my dream, seeing them come to fruition by the incredible EQTVN Creative Team headed by Jacqueline Taylor has brought them to life for the viewer.

“These are only the beginnings of my goal to unite the world of horses. So, if you want to know who I’m speaking with next, go to www.equustelevision.net and register so you can be alerted of our upcoming coverage and my in-depth interviews. Or feel free to reach out to me at diana@equustelevision.net for suggestions of people I should chat with who can speak about the horse world in their country or equestrians who have and will continue to make a mark with their past, present and future accolades.
