Since 2011, the historic 6666 Ranch has provided a selection of the world’s best American Quarter Horses for colt starting’s most prestigious event, Road to the Horse. The Road to the Horse 2023 Remuda, running in memory of the late Dr. Glenn Blodgett, is a direct reflection of his unyielding dedication to the industry he loved so much. Bred to the highest standards of athleticism and grace, the Road to the Horse 2023 Remuda is nothing short of spectacular. The colts take center stage at the World Championship of Colt Starting at the Kentucky Horse Park on March 23-26, 2023.

The sires of the Road to the Horse 2023 Remuda are Sixes Pick, Bet Hesa Cat, Natural Bottom, Playgun, Guthrie City Limits, One Famous Eagle, and Jesses Topaz.
Tasked with building partnerships with these colts are four championship competitors. The 2023 championship competitor lineup represents a unique blend of past Road to the Horse World Champions and top Wild Card competitors. Defending 2022 World Champion Mike Major and two-time World Champion Guy McLean will be joined by Wild Card Champions Cole Cameron and JR Robles.
