Brooke USA Foundation Announces Volunteers of the Year: Arianna Delin and Donna Leonessa

Brooke USA Foundation is extremely honored to award long-time volunteer Arianna Delin and Foothills Regional Advisory Council member Donna Leonessa with the Volunteer of the Year Award. Due to their hard work, attention to detail and passion for the organization, Brooke USA is proud to have these two as volunteers.

Arianna has volunteered for Brooke USA Foundation since 2016 when she first donated her time and talent to the Brooke USA’s Sunset Polo® & White Party in Wellington, FL. Since then, she has helped with the Young Professionals Committee and Paint Wellington Orange. Arianna has also dedicated her time to assisting with administrative tasks, as well as stepping in to help with the first annual Divertimentos & Dressage held in 2019 in Campobello, SC.

Donna is part of the heartbeat of Divertimentos & Dressage, assisting Foothills Regional Advisory Council Chair and Brooke USA Board Member Sally Frick in making her vision a reality from 2019. Donna always goes above and beyond to help drive the event’s success. Her key role is that of securing and managing all Divertimentos & Dressage participating riders, ensuring that they receive the music on time, and coordinating their performance during the rehearsal and actual performance. Her assistance in 2023 extended to the Divertimentos & Dressage in Wellington, FL, helping to make the inaugural showcase during Brooke USA’s Paint Wellington Orange.

“Arianna and Donna are two of our most dedicated and passionate volunteers,” said Emily Dulin, CEO of Brooke USA Foundation. “Their hard work and dedication have made a real difference in the lives of working horses, donkeys and mules around the world. We are so grateful for their contributions of their time and talents.”

Volunteers are needed in every part of the work Brooke USA does – from helping at fundraising events and working booths to raising awareness and inputting names in our database and conducting online research. Brooke USA is grateful to its many volunteers and the organization is only able to continue its mission due to the dedication of its donors.
