Wellington International and HorseGrooms Announce Partnership

HorseGrooms is excited to announce a partnership with Wellington International, host of the Winter Equestrian Festival and Adequan® Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida. The partnership will focus on sharing information and resources and improving the lives and well-being of grooms at the events hosted by Wellington International.

“We are proud to support and host our national and international grooms at Wellington International each year,” said Alicia McLaughlin, Director of Marketing at Wellington International. “Partnering with HorseGrooms allows us to provide additional resources to this hardworking community. More than anything, we want the grooms that visit our venues to feel empowered both personally and professionally, and the content that HorseGrooms provides focuses on both of these areas.”

Recognition and Practical Support

Dinette Neuteboom, founder of HorseGrooms: “We are very excited that grooms are not only getting more and more recognition for their important work, but also practical support that serves their well-being. Wellington International has already started to implement changes to help the grooms and to make their lives a bit easier. Little things like a coffee corner close by the stables can make a big difference. With this partnership, Wellington International recognizes the grooms and their importance to the horses and the equestrian community, and HorseGrooms can only be very happy about that. We have already brainstormed about more things we can do together, and we are seriously thinking about organizing a conference type of educational event for grooms.”

Advance the Craft of Horsemanship and Grooming

“The goal with HorseGrooms is to create a community for all grooms to support and educate each other and to help advance the craft of horsemanship and grooming,” continues Neuteboom. “It’s only small steps, but many small steps can lead to important changes, and together you are always stronger. It would be great if we could also support and educate each other in a live event together with a supportive organization like Wellington International.”
