The Montana Center for Horsemanship’s 4th annual international horsemanship event announces 3 days of clinics, with three leading horsemen, September 5-7, 2024. Horse to Human – the Next Generation in Horsemanship, in partnership with Montana Western and EQUUS International Film Festival, will bring Nick Dowers, Bryan Neubert and Joe Wolter together for three days of clinics, including Horsemanship and Cow Working. Participants with horses can apply to be in each three-day class but auditing is open to all.
The Montana Center for Horsemanship in Dillon, Montana is the nation’s only Center devoted solely to the La Cense Method, Natural Horsemanship. In addition to three days of clinics, “Horse to Human” will feature conference presenters, and red-carpet premieres of award-winning equine films from this year’s edition of Equus International Film Festival. The Call for Entries is now open for any equine related films from any year including documentaries, features, shorts, animated programs, and alt-media.
Horse to Human – the Next Generation in Horsemanship will be held Thursday, September 5 through Saturday, September 7 in the historic western town of Dillon, Montana, known for having more cows and horses than people. The Montana Center for Horsemanship and the La Cense Arena, in partnership with UM Western, also provide the nation’s first and only 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Horsemanship and affiliated degrees. This year’s event will also feature live music with Montana’s own award-winning musician, Rob Quist, joined by vocalist Halladay Quist and fiddler Clara Wiecke.
