Horseware Ireland has won the SPOGA Top Innovation Award at the renowned international equestrian trade fair which took place in Cologne, Germany from February 3rd – 5th. Only 5 products are chosen for this award, out of a shortlist of the top 31 innovations worldwide. Horseware Ireland won this prestigious award for its innovative and sustainable Amigo Hero Revive Plus Turnout.
By launching the new Amigo Hero Revive Plus Turnout, Horseware set a new standard for sustainability within the equestrian industry. In an effort to increase their sustainable production methods, they set out to give their excess raw materials a purpose. They are continuing their mission to reduce waste by taking any unused yarn in their turnout fabric production and created a new, unique patterned rug offering the same strength and reliability as the original Amigo Hero 900 range. The outer fabric is made of unused endings of yarn spools which is giving each rug an individual multi-colour look and a unique pattern. The Amigo Hero Revive Plus comes with all standard features the Amigo Hero 900 collection is known for. The patented lightweight disc front closure system removes pressure points, and front leg arches provide freedom of movement. Two crossed surcingles and a tail strap offer a tailored and secure fit. The shine-enhancing lining supports a healthy coat and skin, and a detachable hood gives the additional coverage when the horse needs it. Available in two fill variations, 50g or 200g, to offer additional warmth.
