U.S. Hunter Jumper Association Named a Best Place to Work in Kentucky for Fourth Consecutive Year

For a fourth consecutive year, the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association has been named a Best Place to Work in Kentucky. The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management, and ClearPath Mutual Insurance Company award the designation to 100 companies across the Commonwealth each year. The USHJA was one of 46 companies in the Small Company category and the only equine association in the state named to the list overall.

“The USHJA team has created a culture and workplace that promotes our values of honesty, ownership, respect, stewardship and empowerment,” said Kevin Price, executive director of USHJA. “Our employees are the driving force behind our culture and we are incredibly proud to be awarded this designation as a top 100 place to work in Kentucky for a fourth consecutive year.”

Winners from across the Commonwealth were selected in three categories: small companies of 15-149 employees, medium companies of 150-499 employees and large companies consisting of 500 or more employees (categories based on number of U.S. employees, only Kentucky employees surveyed). The selection process is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey, which is managed by Workforce Research Group.

Winner rankings from the 19th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky list will be announced at an awards dinner Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Central Bank Center in Lexington.
