Sharon Wolin Wins 2022 Horse Week Film Contest

The Equine Network LLC is happy to announce Sharon Wolin as the winner of the second annual Horse Week Film Contest. Held in conjunction with Horse Week brought to you by Boehringer Ingelheim, the Horse Week Film Contest is an opportunity for both amateurs and professionals to demonstrate their equine storytelling skills.

Wolin’s winning submission is a heartwarming video about Peaceful Acres, a horse rescue and equine-assisted therapy program. In the video, viewers meet the founder, staff, volunteers and horses of Peaceful Acres while getting a taste of what makes this New York farm a little slice of heaven for so many.

“The second year of our Horse Week film contest was a huge success. The stories and creative work submissions were amazing. The equine industry is full of untold stories, through this contest we are able to highlight the many stories and showcase many amateur and professional videographers and editors,” says Equine Network Video Project Manager Mariah Hammerschmidt.

In addition to having her video aired during Horse Week, Wolin will also take home the $7,500 cash prize. Horse Week, in its second year, is an equine-centric online digital festival unlike any other, allowing horse lovers around the world to connect with content encompassing many varieties of breeds, disciplines and people.
