New Marguerite Henry Biography and Equestrian Holiday Gifts Debut at the American Equestrian Trade Association International Trade Show in Dallas August 23-26

Equestrian author Susan Friedland, fresh back from Chincoteague Island where she launched “Marguerite, Misty and Me: a Horse Lover’s Hunt for the Hidden History of Marguerite Henry and Her Chincoteague Pony,” will be promoting her new nonfiction book at AETA at Dallas Market Center August 23-26. “I love the energy of buyers and brands connecting at AETA. There’s been so much enthusiasm for ‘Marguerite, Misty and Me’ both online and at events on Chincoteague and during Breyerfest. I’m excited to further the reach, so more fans of horse books can discover the Marguerite Henry backstory,” Friedland said.

Jon Richstein, owner of Sundial Books on Chincoteague Island, hosted an author signing event and proclaimed Friedland’s fourth title, “An instant classic! ‘Marguerite, Misty and Me’ is essential reading for fans of Marguerite Henry’s ‘Misty of Chincoteague.’ Well-researched and nicely illustrated, Susan Friedland’s book was written with obvious love for her subject.”

Hunt Seat Paper Co. will introduce the new Holiday 2023 collection which includes foxy gift wrap, dazzling horse-themed tree ornaments and Christmas stockings for horses. Fan favorites, the “Fall Off Club” pin, “The Ultimate Equestrian Activity Book” and tall boot tea towels will make a return appearance along with the debut of the Stable Style luxury candle line.
