The Horses & Humans Research Foundation  (HHRF) invites researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit abstracts for our upcoming conference, which will be held in San Diego, California, February 24 &25, 2024. Join us in advancing the understanding of the profound and multifaceted relationship between humans and horses.

Conference Themes Include:

  • Equine-Assisted Services: Present your research on the therapeutic benefits of equine-assisted services, including equine-assisted activities and therapies, equine-assisted learning, and equine-facilitated psychotherapy.
  • Horse and human interaction topics or areas that are in need of investigation through research.
  • Equine Well-being: Explore topics related to equine behavior, welfare, and the human impact on these areas, emphasizing the ethical treatment and care of horses.
  • Interdisciplinary Approaches: Highlight the intersection of various disciplines, such as psychology, neuroscience, veterinary science, and education, in understanding the dynamic between horses and humans.
