The National Snaffle Bit Association recently released the schedule for its 2024 NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity, which will be held August 8-18 at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The show schedule can be viewed at nsba.com/world-show.
“The National Snaffle Bit Association is looking forward to returning to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for our association’s biggest event of the year,” noted Stephanie Lynn, NSBA’s executive director. “The NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity is an event our members look forward to all year.”
New classes for 2024 include:

- Amateur Walk Trot Western Pleasure
- Amateur Walk Trot Hunter Under Saddle

- Three Year Old Open Ranch Riding
- Youth Ranch Riding

The entry brochure for the 2024 NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity will be produced later this spring.
The association reminds members that there is still time to meet qualifying requirements. The qualifying period for participation in the 2024 NSBA World Championship Show ends April 30, 2024.
Qualifying is achieved through participation in each desired class at Dual-Approved events or Special Events. In Open classes, the horse, and in Amateur and Youth classes, the horse and rider, will be required to participate in the corresponding Dual-Approved class a minimum of five times during the qualifying period, which began May 1, 2023, and ends April 30, 2024. Those horses and/or riders who do not qualify through the qualification period can still enter their classes with an additional $150 qualification fee.
The first entry deadline for the 2024 NSBA World Championship Show will be June 1.
About The NSBA World Championship Show, Breeders Championship Futurity and Color Breeders Championship Futurity
SBA began its Breeders Championship Futurity in 2001, and added its World Championship Show in 2006. Last year, the NSBA World Championship Show presented $985,318.30 in prize money, while the Breeders Championship Futurity paid more than $381,600, and the Color Breeders Championship Futurity paid out more than $85,500 in earnings. In all, the NSBA World Championship Show and its included events paid nearly $1.5 million to its members in 2023.
Since its inception in 2001, the Breeders Championship Futurity has awarded more than $6 million in earnings to NSBA members.
